Terms of Use

This is an English translation for convenience. If there is any difference, the Japanese version prevails.

These terms set out the conditions for using 86BRZ.com (the “Site”). By using the Site you agree to these terms.

1. Accounts

Accounts on the Site are created by connecting an X (formerly Twitter) account. Creating multiple accounts for improper use is prohibited.

2. What you can post

You can post photos related to the Toyota AE86, 86 / GR86, Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S. You confirm that you hold the necessary rights to the photos you post.

3. Prohibited conduct

• Infringing the copyright, portrait rights or privacy of others, such as posting photos taken by someone else without permission
• Posting content that is offensive, obscene or violent
• Posting content that encourages dangerous driving or illegal acts
• Spam or posts made only for advertising
• Interfering with the operation of the Site

4. Rights to your posts

You keep the copyright to the photos you post. You grant the Site permission to use and process them as needed to provide the service, including displaying them, creating thumbnails, automatically blurring license plates and faces, adding a poster credit (your X username), and using them as reference examples to improve the accuracy of the automatic checks.

5. Official accounts

After reviewing an application, the operator may show an “Official” badge on the account of a manufacturer, shop or similar business. Posts from official accounts are published without the automatic photo check (the check of whether a photo looks like the cars covered by the Site). License plates and faces are still blurred automatically, and text checks and reports work as usual. The operator may remove the official status when it considers this necessary.

6. Review, removal and suspension

Posted photos are checked automatically, and some may be published only after a moderator reviews them. The operator may remove posts or suspend accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

7. Disclaimer

The Site is an unofficial fan site run by an individual and is not affiliated with Toyota Motor Corporation or SUBARU Corporation. The operator is not liable for any damage arising from use of the Site.

8. Changes

These terms may be changed as necessary.
